Why are you feeling hurt?



You can blame others

You can hope they will change

You can try and walk on eggshells

Even bend backwards

Others are just reflecting back to you

What is already within you, ready to heal

Real change and healing is only possible

When you begin with yourself

Why are you feeling hurt?

What’s causing disharmony?

Pay attention to your thoughts

Recognize that not all thoughts are true

Why is this situation hurting you so much?

Do not look outside to blame and validate

Don’t expect the world to change

Sit with your pain

Set aside all judgment

Observe with love and compassion

Look at the part within you that is hurting

What does that part need to heal?

Does it need to feel loved and accepted?

Does it need to be heard or acknowledged?

Feel into and honor your feelings

Breathe into them with love and compassion

Tune in often, sit with that part within

Listen, love, honor, and respect

Until it feels whole again

Learn to love and accept all parts of you

It is time to respect your needs

Develop high self-esteem and confidence

Hold your head high

And let your true light shine.
