Your body has the ability to heal itself and maintain good health, or at the least recover faster when it experiences dis-ease or dis-harmony. Regular meditation helps your mind and body to relax, and when in a stress-free state it can support and strengthen the body's immune system. However, meditation is not an alternative to medical treatment. However, you can meditate while following your treatment plan as advised by medical professionals. Meditate only when you can relax, undisturbed, and your attention is not needed elsewhere. Always make sure you are awake and alert before you continue with your daily activities.
